• Pass a Navigation Rules of the Road Internet Course• Swim 50 yards in uniform without gear
• Supply personal basic wet and dry gear for course participation

This add-on class to our Basic Boat Operator or Basic RIB Operator courses teaches transfer techniques while underway.
Transfer of patients
Transfer of rescue personnel
Students who have completed our Basic Boat Operator course can add this one day course for Extreme Conditions.
Course will focus on one of the following:
Ice Rescue techniques
Swiftwater Rescue techniques
Surf Rescue techniques
Students learn our Basic Boat Operator and Instant Inflatable courses in a Swiftwater environment.
This course is open to active members of the Military only and is designed to give units maintenance skills for use while deployed.
Basic maintenance and care
Gluing and patching techniques
Repairing and replacing speed tubes
Repairing and replacing the keel
Transom repair
A second week for advance repair techniques may be offered.
Students learn about the tactical advantages of using inflatable boats with centralized rapid inflation capabilities when responding to emergencies.
Students learn to assess risk upon arrival at an emergency.
Coast Guard members learn how to operate and maintain RIBs or Inflatables upon delivery.
